Christmas Stockings

I decided, for some strange reason, that I wanted to make Christmas stockings for my little grandsons this year. *Why strange ?* I hear you cry !! Well, because I was kicked out of sewing classes at school when I was 13 for sewing my school skirt to the skirt I was making :o) Anyone would think I'd done it on purpose !!

Anyway - my husband & my daughter both laughed when I told them - they KNOW I can't sew & if I manage to sew a button on, it falls off 10 minutes later - but I was determined. It took me from December last year to Tuesday of last week to actually pluck up the courage to have a go & here are the finished articles. I have to admit though, I didn't cut them out, my husband did. He's much better at things like that than I am, but I DID do everything else & I'm pretty chuffed with them :o)
