Three-threety-three :o)

Hazel's challenge this week is for a Christmas card with 3 of something & here is my effort.

It's made with 3 pieces of card - the red I embossed with my holly folder & Cuttlebug; the green already has Christmas greetings on it, so no need to add another & the white I used a stamp on.

The stamp is 3 animals - a cat, a dog & a mouse & I decoupaged it in 3 layers - the cat is as it was, the dog is made of 2 layers & the mouse is 3 layers :o)

I then added just 3 colours - red, green & brown, the brown being 3 different shades, one for each animal.

To finish it off, though you can't see it very well, I added Glossy Accents to the holly berries & the dog's nose.

As well as Hazel's weekly challenge, I'm going to be a devil & enter it in her monthly *Anything Goes* challenge as well :o)

    1. Thanks Jen :o) I've won twice since I started doing the challenges, which has been lovely :o) Some of the cards are just out of this world, so it's a good job Hazel uses a random number generator to choose the winners. If I had to go up against some of the other cards, I'd not get a look in. There are a LOT of very talented card makers out there :o)

  3. What a breath of fresh air Pat to read your Blog Posts. I attend a craft afternoon each week where a lot of the ladies like yourself, make cards and I am always fascinated with their creations, I took the laptop over to them this week and showed them your creations, I hope you don’t mind, they were very interested and I have now been tasked to do the same each week. My main interest is in sketching as you will no doubt know from my Blog also on Michaels list (Al’s Blog) but anything that involves art or craft really interests me. Keep the posts coming it makes a change from all the doom and gloom that is becoming so repetitious these last few months.

    1. Thank you Alan :o) I've read your blog a fair few times - my husband is a wood turner, so when I saw you did that too, I just had to go & take a look :o) I also spend a lot of time looking at your sketches - they really are beautiful.

I don't mind my efforts being shown to your ladies, but there will many more blogs with far classier cards than I make - I'm a very *plain & simple* person. In every way :o)

Thank you for taking the time to comment, it's appreciated :o) Hope to *see* you here again soon.
